Data-Sharing Consent
This notice explains exactly what happens to your training and wellness data when you connect with a professional on UFiT Daily. You own your data. Connecting a coach grants them limited read access so they can guide you — nothing more — and you can withdraw that access at any time.
1. You Own Your Data
UFiT Daily's systems read your health and fitness data for three things: to show it back to you; to show it to a coach you have explicitly connected with; and, when you ask UFiT Intelligence to build or check a plan or put a question to Ask UFiT, to produce that plan or answer (your latest logged weight and the body statistics you give set nutrition targets, your injury notes screen exercises, and, when you choose to continue your progression, a summary of your records is sent to our AI provider). The Privacy Policy lists these uses in full. We do not sell your data.
2. What You Grant a Coach
When you connect with a professional and accept the consent prompt, you grant that specific professional read-only access to: your logged workouts and activity, your body metrics (such as weight and body composition), your daily readiness check-ins (sleep, energy, soreness, mood), and your progress goals.
A coach can never see the data of any client who has not connected with and granted access to them. Access is scoped to the individual coach you chose — not the platform, not other coaches, and not other members.
3. This Is Between You and Your Coach
Any coaching relationship is strictly between you and the professional. UFiT Daily is a software conduit that facilitates the connection; it is not a party to your coaching arrangement and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice.
Every professional must sign the UFiT Professional Confidentiality & Data-Protection Pledge before they can take on clients. Settings → My Data & Professionals shows, beside each coach, whether they have signed it, and links to the pledge text.
4. Revoke Access Any Time
You are always in control. From Settings → My Data & Professionals you can revoke a coach’s access with one tap. Revocation is immediate — the coach’s read access is severed at the database level and they can no longer view your data.
Revoking access does not delete your data; it simply stops sharing it. You can re-grant access later if you choose.
5. Delete Your Data
You may permanently delete your training and wellness data (body metrics, check-ins, activity logs, and goals) from Settings → My Data & Professionals. This action is irreversible and removes the data for you and for any connected coach. Your profile, plans, photos, messages, and posts stay until you delete your account.
For account-level deletion and data-portability rights, see our Privacy Policy and contact us at ufitdaily.com/contact.
